IG trooper, convert it into a vector image from a jpeg, and in turn have answered my own question.

It works for what I need quite well, and I'd be more then happy to share the thing with anyone else that would like a copy. I think with a little fiddling as well, you could get it to work in Photoshop just by converting it back.
