Gw website, and I noticed that they have articles on tactics for example they have one with many different tactics an orcs n goblins general could use, but since the release of 8th edition are these articles still useful? and also what do you guys think of these articles most of the time??

GW site pretty much are what they are; a brief and basic rundown of some ways to use various units and the like. Having just got hold of the O&G army book was left somewhat confused by what is said in the fluff, and what you actually get in the stats.
For example, as they age the orcses' tough skin gets ...

even more impenetrable, to the point that even the most determined swordstroke can only cause a scratch.

Yet there seems to be nothing that correlates with this. There is no intrinsic armour save afaik, though I may well be mistaken.


Not sure there is any ulterior motive for it but the inconsistency is a tad annoying.
