I'd say a tie between Catachan Green and Scab red. Just generally good colors. Very neutral, easy to work with. I just like them

If I had to decide, I'd say Chaos Black (at the risk of sounding boring) or... actually, Scab Red. Otherwise, Charadon Granite. I've recently fallen in love with shadow gray as well. It looks about the same with either a black or white primer, and accepts many washes very easily.

Recently I used it on a space wolf commander for my brother, washed it with a blue ink and badab black, then finally built back the orignal shadow gray through a light dry brushing. I use it for, Armor, bone, paper, eyes, skin highlights, yellow highlights, etc.

Painting favorite would be one of the foundations of course...probably Astranomican 'grey.

Why just GW "OF COURSE"? I use only Vallejo paints and homemade washs on my WH minis.
