Just take strips of plastic card and replace the mangled parts one at a time.

I would use the waste bits from a sprue, maybe double them up for bulk and cut them at the appropriate angle with that modelling saw, and make a couple of "I-beams" to fill in the space. Seriously, that bit of plastic shouldn't be hard to replace, I expected an answer about pinning and green stuff!

This poor speeder has got a fair amount of work needed since the top portion was so warped to begin with that there was no way to make the front come even close to the connecting properly. Replacement of parts with Plasticard, desired models and sprue basically rebuilt it. Then my crap painting ruined it but meh!
