I took some new pictures now. I have updated the thread

I am a fresh Dakka Dakka member. Looked at the site alot and found some very nice master painters here.
So I thought I post some of my uhm, not so master painted models.
Yeah I am looking for ways to improve my painting skills (arn´t we all?).

My goal with this project is to get a cool army (I wont play with it thou) and to learn how to handle my brand new Airbrush.
Well I´m not big on public speaking so I just toss some pics out.

Lets start with my Baal Predator:




Next is an unfinished Land Speeder.



The Rhino make an entrance!




And lastly, my Dread.


Now we have some Sanguinary Guard (Yeah, they are flying)
I haven´t finished the banner yet. But it is coming.
Haven´t retaken the picture of these guys yet.

Been messing around alot today with different settings etc.

I think this is my best pic sofar. Gonna mess around abit more. (Only cropped the pic, nothing else)

My only concern is the darkness of you red, I personally like BA in your faca disgrace kind of red, but again thats just personal preference. Only the red is done yet thou but I think you will get a general idea atleast.





Oh btw.
How do you think I should handle the white?
Shade it with watered down grey, repaint the white or shade it with black (berhaps black wash)?

.. WOW. What is the marine on the left? It's awesome.. which of the chapter masters is he?

On the cloaks, I prefer the darker brown, it makes the red that much more effective. Since it´s not a playing army I will just pick what models I like, and I really liked these 4.
But does it still blend with the modifed cloak?
