I know their hasen't been anything official released on this I think it is more just a speculate or fan made future type discussion that I thought would be interesting to post. This is of course applying that the unspecified amount of time that is referanced in "A long time ago" has passed and that the Star Wars universe is being viewed in the same time scope in that we are not looking at it as a past event from our universe. That is assuming that Star Wars is real, and George Lucas somehow contacted beings in a distant galaxy and recieved video footage from them that he then made into movies. So it probably is a meaningless discussion.

I created this thread simply to point out that the Star wars into points to the events of the Star Wars universe being viewed as past events which logically means that in the fictional universe it can theoretically be viewed at a present time period.
