GW isn't going to sue you for it even if their fine print says you can't, because how will they even know? They would really only have a problem with it if you were doing that and then making your scans available for other people over the interwebs. If it's for your own use, go for it.

The only time it might be an issue is if you play in a GW store and the employees are major wienies about it, or go to a major tournament where you should bring your hard copy books, but if you're just playing in your own gaming group or a friendly local shop, and someone complained about it, then they're prolly someone that's not worth your time to play with anyway.
