Much like Sanguinius's deep and abiding love of nipple armor, this rage seeped into the Angry Marine's genes and became a facet of their doctrine. The Commissariat would later go on to dispose of its most fanatical and psychotic commissars by assigning them to the Angry Marines, creating a self reinforcing feedback loop.

Unlike other marines, they are also known for recruiting from other chapters, making them an overly aggressive variation on the Deathwatch idea. Those deemed too unstable for use in a standard chapter are sent to the Angry Marines and are accultured into even ANGRIER beings.
