				<title>Assault Terminators + Character + Land Raider Crusader = happy fun time?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So, I have 7 old metal terminators with Lighting Claws and I found an old metal Terminator Captain model, you know....these guys...? (see below, chapters may vary).<br /> <br /> Anyways, I thought to myself, hey...self....these are still decent representations of what they are.  It'd be a shame to waste them! So I was kicking around some ideas and wanted to see what the general concensus was.<br /> <br /> Ok, so 7 Lightning Claw Terminators in a Land Raider Crusader is pretty self-explanatory.<br /> The real question is, lets say I want a Captain even though a Chaplain or Librarian might be better.  I had considered just going Storm Bolter/Power Sword to keep it cheap and simple, but then it occured that the other potential 28 S4 Lightning Claw attack might have that covered, so then I was thinking, Thunder Hammer/Storm Shield as insurance for what the Terminators cant deal with (Dreadnoughts, or Kans or big 'Nids, ect..) <br /> <br /> Any other ideas as far as it goes? Combi-Weapon/Power Fist? It's stupid you cant get a Relic Blade in Terminator Armor, what's the difference?? Again, I realize that maybe the Chaplain and Librarian might be better, but I think I want to go with a Captain (or even use him as a Chapter Master at some point) for my first <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, and use a Librarian or Chaplain as a second in later games.<br /> <br /> Thanks all!<br /> T-]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would say, for your best choice, grab 2-3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> terminators for your anti-vehicle and leave the captain with a p.weap/ relic blade. He has a I5, so you should take advantage of that. If you really wanna turn him into your walker insurance, give him a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> or Chainfist/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>, BUT! He can be singled out in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>, which means he can be instant deathed by pretty much any walker if he fails his armour save, which is why I say 2-3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> terminators.<br /> <br /> <br /> p.s Are you a man? 				<description><![CDATA[ If you're playing Black Templars or Blood Angels, there are strong arguments to front load on Lightning Claws for your terminators.<br /> <br /> If you're playing Vanilla Marines, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> terminators with 1-2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>'s at most is a much stronger combo.  Also, be careful of what type of character you run with them, as you don't want to leave some terminators unable to strike due to the character's higher Initiative and attacks, or leave the character to get splatted by whatever enemy you are facing because he's the easier target.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You are correct you can't take a relic blade if the Captain or Master is in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(332);'>TDA</span>.  If you want to use the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> Terminators and Captain then I would give the Captain a fist and shield.  The fist helps with what the Claws can't take on and the shield makes your character much more survivable.<br /> <br /> Take the things you want, try them out, and have fun.  You don't HAVE to take the best of everything to play the game.  Not taking the best doesn't mean you're taking the worst.]]></description>

However, I have no experience with running the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span> + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> termies for the above reason (and I have the old <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>), so a combination of the both may be better for a 'nilla marine player. As for blood angels, i dont know, I havent had a chance to really read through the new codex; I'll let someone else speak on that.<br /> <br /> /2 cents]]></description>

I just was looking at the older Captain figure and though about getting some use out of it, that's all. <br /> <br /> I realize the Chaplain's benefits far outweigh the Captain and even the Chapter Master's own, but again, this is just for the hell of it, and not really looking to go wreck a Gamesday or Rogue Trader tourney with this army list.  <br /> <br /> I was just trying to think of the best equipment for a Captain who would accompany a squad of 7 Lightning Claw armed Terminators in a Land Raider Crusader. It's just another S4 Power Weapon added to a squad with all S4 Lightning Claws.  I dont have any <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>'s to use in this squad, so that is not an option.  The only way <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> be able to do that is to use a Captain/Chapter Master with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>, because I have parts for the conversion, but not for the rest of the Terminators.<br /> <br /> Im very interested in seeing what this squad can do against anything, because the Land Raider Crusader will get them into the thick of it, while mowing down whatever it can too, and the potential to get off 28 Lightning Claw attacks is really hard to pass up! 				<description><![CDATA[ That's why you need a Thunder hammer/powerfist/chainfist or two. I would get at least 1 terminator with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(224);'>TH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span>.
