				<description><![CDATA[ The trick is, given what you have there I'm not sure what I'd replace any of those duplicates <i>with</i>.<br /> <br /> Two units of 20 RXBs give you a good, flexible firing line that can become backup melee blocks at need.<br /> <br /> Two units of shades allows you to take out warmachines that much quicker.<br /> <br /> Two COC give much of the striking power of 2 units of 5 COK for less... and a smaller frontage to boot.<br /> <br /> Two Hydras... what's not to love there? (Unless you are faced with the prospect of fighting them, that is!)<br /> <br /> <br /> The harpies and shades give you a good maneuver advantage. The witches will rock against most other core. The spearman block is kinda small, but should do the job with the help of the COC and backup from the RXBs. My one concern is how you are going to handle high-Toughness, well-armored targets; normally I'd throw COK or Executioners against them and you don't have either. Of course, magic (which lores are you going to use? That has to be noted pre-game now, remember?), COC, and the Hydras might do the trick...<br /> <br /> Eh. It looks solid to me. You'll have to playtest it for the best assessment.]]></description>

You're going to find out quick that they will be pretty ineffective in most games.<br /> <br /> If you want to reduce redundancy, only suggestions I'd make would be to drop one unit of shades, drop a cold one chariot (their stupidity is a liability even on LD9 reroll)<br /> <br /> Now you have 252 points to play around with.  Maybe take a support unit of corsairs?  They'll fill a similar role as the witches, and give your opponent a second target to consider in addition to them. <br /> <br /> Coincidentally, corsairs x21 + standard + musician + Sea Serpent Standard = 250 <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If anything I would complain that your Witch elves are far to thin. Magic attacks and any gunline should obliterate them before they even get close to combat. <br /> <br /> Thats the only problem I see with the list though.<br /> <br /> <br /> Oh and I think his lv4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(221);'>SS</span> is on a dark pegasus. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I agree with Vulcan I wouldn't replace anything.<br /> <br /> However if you do have 50 pts to spend (no dex on hand), I would put the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 4 on a Dark Pegasus, to give her more mobility.<br /> <br /> The 3 units of warmachine hunters is a good number, that way if you don't go first you still have hopefully 1 unit alive.<br /> <br /> With 2 Hydras and 2 CoC you should be fine, the majority of them should make it to opponents lines intact especially if the shades/harpies do their job.]]></description>

Well crap.<br /> <br /> As far as magic, definitely going with Shadow on the Lv.4 and I was thinking either Metal or Dark for the Lv.2.  The +1 to hit for Crossbowmen looks fantastic as does, but of course there's no guarantee I'd get it every time.]]></description>

I'll be doing a fair bit of movement tray proxying before I get this thing settled into a proper list snce I only own about half the infantry and a Hydra.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I tried out the lore of metal on my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2, I had some good spells to pick from, but she was stuck in combat on turn 1 (my fault, really) and couldn't get a chance to use her correctly.  I have a feeling it'll be our best secondary caster, because of high armor.  If your opponent is rocking low armor, oh well, the rest of the army can handle em, not bad for 185 points.]]></description>

He then deploys his dragon lord on the same side next to them.  Scared of both, I charged the silver helms with my chariot (he had first turn so krept close enough for me to do so).  He picked flee as a charge reaction.  Turns out my chariot had just enough steam to redirect into his lord, and did.  Only to be wiped out in combat.  On his turn, he charges the corsair block with the caster inside.  (so I guess it was top of turn 2, not turn 1.  Still not a great situation.).]]></description>

I'd also lose out on the 6" range boost and +1 Dispel Die.  Hrm...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'm tempted to say corsairs, as I am quite fond of their offensive output, though I've never used spearmen.<br /> <br /> Every list needs *some* kind of tar pit.  The spearmen give you that in some form, though their survivability isn't much greater than the corsairs...the corsairs actually have better odds against range.  <br /> <br /> If you're going shadow on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 4, I've had zero issues with range.  Casting the higher level spells generally isn't too difficult, and that gives the entire lore 24"+ for distance (36"+ if you discount pit of shades).  So the focus familiar could be sidelined.  The seal of ghrond will hurt though...it's pretty nice and that's the exact same setup I use for my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2.  Maybe drop the harpies  to get the seal back and add 3 more corsairs, making them a pretty solid 6x4 unit?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ That's fairly tempting, dropping the harpies and Familiar to bump the Corsairs to 6x4.  It certainly leads to more attacks (24 vs 10-15), but it does remove the backup War Machine hunter and screening unit.]]></description>

However, for some reason, I feel that corsairs would fit your Slaanesh theme better if you were still going that route.
