Inquisitorial IG

So lately I've been thinking of building up some IG to ally with Sisters or GKs and have been playing around with a color scheme in my head. I thought about ultramarines blue, but realized I didn't have any on hand so I went with the next best thing: Lich Purple. Let me know what you all think. C&C always welcome. Also I'm having trouble with the decals, any tips on how to put those on without bubbling and getting rid of there shine? Thanks!

Melta Gunner Conversion

Still haven't done the basing yet.
So would you suggest a brighter highlight or should I go to light grey fatigues (borderline white) as opposed to dark grey?

I have a soft spot for these, similar to a SOB army i'v got on the go. I would go for a brighter highlight on both armour and fatigues, perhaps some purple ink the fissures of the armour.

Really liking the Pruepl/Grey scheme you've got here but I do agree that a wash of purple ink could help or even lighter fatigues.

What colour would the tanks be out of curiosity?

I was thinking about german grey tanks, with airbrushed strips of purple. Similar to these tanks by SAS I found in the gallery, but instead of the sand color imagine it being purple.

The kasrkins and guardsman are looking good, i like the huge diference in colour and the way it stands out i'd agree with the highlights and maybe splash of ink, as for the tanks, the original colour sceme is good, as for a strip of purpel i think so long as it isnt completely over the top and blended nicely it would work very well with and whole urban/regimental colour. overall i like it
