I found priming the red straight over the plastic worked just as well as "dusting" the models with white primer first. Granted the point of this army was to finish it fast to sell it so I washed nearly the whole model so the brightness of the red mattered less. What do you guys think? With the Army Painter Primers do you need to "dust" prime the models with white first to get the best color? The pressure in the cans is rather high and the spray is strong.

I made the mistake of using Dragon Red over a part plastic/part resin land raider and the slightly different colored materials showed under the paint. Ya, having seen how it covers I can see how two different colored plastics, or in your case plastic and resin would definitely show through.
