				<title>1750 Blood Angels</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Edit: <font color='red'>Red</font> = Removed, <font color='green'>Green</font> = Added<br /> <br /> After my first four games with Blood Angels my list has been chopped and changed each time, and has got to the following;<br /> <br /> 1 x Librarian - Shield of Sanguinius / Fear of Darkness<br /> <br /> <br /> 2 x Sanguinary Priests - <font color='green'>2 x Storm Bolters</font><br /> <br /> 1 x Furioso Dreadnaught - Librarian, <font color='red'>Frag Cannon</font>, Drop Pod, Wings / Shield<br /> <br /> 1 x Furioso Dreadnaught - Librarian, Drop Pod, Wings / Blood Lance<br /> <br /> <br /> 1 x Baal Predator<br /> <br /> 1 x Baal Predator<br /> <br /> <font color='green'>1 x Baal Predator - Flamestorm Cannon, Dozer Blade</font><br /> <br /> <br /> 9 x Assault Marines - Rhino, Melta Gun, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span><br /> <br /> 9 x Assault Marines - Rhino, Melta Gun, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span><br /> <br /> 9 x Assault Marines - Rhino, Melta Gun, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span><br /> <br /> 5 x Assault Marines - Drop Pod, Flamer<br /> <br /> <font color='green'>Now 3 points left</font><br /> <br /> That leaves me with 129 points and I'm not sure what to do with them. The premise behind the list is the 2 Dreads come on turn one and try to take out a tank or some infantry. <br /> <br /> The librarian and priests travel with the three assault squads and the baals scout move to either provide them cover if I lose turn 1 or charge forward. The 5 assault marines simply make the numbers up for the drop pods to work and will sit on the objective at home when required.<br /> <br /> I could get a scout scoud with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> and locator beacon with the remaining points, or a land speeder or even a vindicator if I cut 20 points from somewhere.<br /> <br /> I like the sound of the vindicator but not sure what to cut. Do you think 2 Librarians is overkill and I'd be better with one of them being normal with blood talons?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I actually like this list as it is. Never worked much with Librarian Dreads and/or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(428);'>FoD</span>. I would fill out that 5man squad in the pod and maybe get them another flamer? Possibly give your priests a power weapon? Typhoon speeder to skim around the backfield and toss rockets or a MMHF suicidal speeder.<br /> <br /> With this list, 128 points can go a long way. I have ran Vindicators and honestly, they are best ran in 2's. I live in the US so for some reason, which I have yet to figure out, we play 1850 instead of 1750. I may actually take this list and try it out myself. With the extra 100 pts, I have a few more options opened up. But overall, I like this list. You have a lot of options with your remaining points.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Cheers good to hear, if you do take the list let me know how it goes for you, and what you'd change after playing it. An extra 100 points can go a long way!<br /> <br /> I resisted filling the 5 man squad out as I simply wanted them to contest a home objective, with 10 men then I feel I have to make them get their points back. Granted in Annihilation this doesn't work but I was hoping to use the saved points for something better. <br />  <br /> My priests stay in the Rhinos most the time, as I'm too scared of getting them killed in close combat, which is why they havn't got a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(486);'>PW</span>.<br /> <br /> I think a Vindicator would add some extra scariness to the list, as it could lead the Rhinos forward and would attract a lot of fire from them. However i'm just as tempted by the Typhoon speeder for long range support.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Furioso libby cannot take a frag cannon (see the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(36);'>FAQ</span>).<br /> <br /> If the priests stay in the rhinos, how about giving them storm bolters, and upgrading the rhinos to have 2? Each rhino then puts out 6 bolter shots a turn, not to be sniffed at.<br /> <br /> Use the remaining points for another asm unit in a razorback to take midfield objectives.]]></description>

Each rhino then puts out 6 bolter shots a turn, not to be sniffed at.</div></blockquote><br /> Also good point on the storm bolters, I've added them to the priests rather than the Rhinos as they're much cheaper, so each Rhino now has 4 storm bolter shots, which is still a nice output.<br /> <br /> I'm still resisting a 10 man squad in the drop pod or a Razorback with 5, instead I decided for a third Baal Predator, though this one has a Flamestorm Cannon, which leaves me with 3 points.<br /> <br /> Except for Dawn of War it can get to the other side of the table on turn 1 with a scout move. Which means it can either flame stuff in cover or anything that the Dread's explode with Blood Lance. If I lose turn 1 it can help to build the wall around the Rhino's or still charge forward with smoke in the scout move. What do you reckon?<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

They lose that extra attack in combat, that's where they will be targeted so may as well have the most attacks.<br /> <br /> Pods are ok number but problem you've got is the Librarians both have wings - so why Pods? And also on lance for blasting stuff. The Assault Squad is in a Pod and cannot assault out of it, total waste and no point.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

The Assault Squad is in a Pod and cannot assault out of it, total waste and no point.<br /> <br /> </div></blockquote><br /> <br /> The plan was to keep the priests in Rhinos and out of close combat, where they won't benefit from an extra attack, so may as well have a better weapon.<br /> <br /> The Librarians drop pod so they blow tanks up on Turn 1, wings won't get them to the other side of the table on Turn 1 and in Dawn of War they have even further. Blood Lance is for turn 1 and then the wings are to ensure they can get into combat after that, opposed to spending turns running around the board.<br /> <br /> The assault squad is purely there to make the drop pod number odd and provide a scoring unit for objective games. The reason they are assault marines and not tactical is that assault marines get a 35 point discount on transports, so the pod is free. In annihilation they aren't great but can still provide flamer support where required.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Becareful with that because you may find yourself out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FnP</span> and F.C range.<br /> <br /> How can the Librarian Dreadnoughts blow stuff up? Only got a lance, I don't think they come with anything else. The first turn they come down in those Drop Pods they will stand there, I know you might be taking that empty Pod to help.<br /> <br /> Still waste of points on the Assault Marines whether the Pod is free or not - what they going to do, land and fire 5 bolt pistol shots and stnad there? Bummer.]]></description>
