I've always thought that if you played in the RTT that you missed out on all the cool stuff at Games Day. What you really want to see are the seminars and pannels with the GW guests. Also the Golden Daemon contest is a must see. Generally there are a few clubs and game tables you can get in on if you're looking to play something. The last time they did a Games Day in L.A. they sold off all the big boxes of stuff super-cheap at the end of the day. I bought the 25th Anniversary Empire Army box for $80. If you're in range of Chicago but weren't in range of Baltimore, you should totally go. (Or you could be like mikhaila and company, and go anyway ).
