With Christmas looming, I'm currently reviewing the Hobby Equipment I have, and deciding whether to Upgrade any of it.

Has anybody worked with Gale Force Nine's Tools Range? Specifically, I'm thinking of their 5" Flush Clippers and Diamond Files Set.

If so, how are they? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I use their 3 pc scultping tools. I believe I have their 5 pc diamond file set; however, think it is still lost in a box from moving (had not used yet). I was actually looking at the diamond files yesterday at my FLGS, and couldn't think of any point I would use them over my GW needle files. If you're going to need that much detail you're probably better off doing a rough cut and then GSing around the details you want.

If I had to buy a new pair of plastic snips I'd go GF9 instead of GW. I think the GF9 stuff is SLIGHTLY more expensive and its certianly less "pretty".



I would strongly recommend their products based on the experiences I've had so far. Just as good as GW, but more utilitarian looking.
