Only solution to the synapse problem I can see would be to drop one Trygon for another flock of gargoyles and make both the other Trygon's primes. Other then that, the list looks too tight to drop much.

I'd drop a hive guard from each brood to get prime upgrades and you'll have 20 pts. Why not give one tervigon AG and the other TS and keep them close to grant all the taunts both benefits.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I also see you having a problem when facing a list with massive amounts of bodies.

Gonna have to think about what that would affect overall.. Another option is to drop the zoanthropes completely.. get 3 more Hive Guard, drop 1 gargoyle and give 2 trygons Prime..

Hmm

Re:2k Nid

I dont think you have a synapse problem myself.

The flyrant will keep the gargs in check for a bit. The tervigons take care of the gants and hive guards. The thropes help out with the fast units and trygons once they come in.

I personally dont care about the trygons much tho...the only thing rage does to them is take away mediocre shooting and force you to fleet every turn. Not really much of a loss there.

With the gargs there providing cover to the flyrant he should last at least a couple of rounds before being spammed to death. If you walk the Trygons instead of DS then target priority becomes much more difficult for your opponent. Oh and whatever side the trygons and flyrant/gargs were on would prolly walk all over the enemy, and with that threat coming at them they are less likely to worry about the tervigons and hive guard.

For just 10 points, you could have the Swarmlord over the Hive Tyrant, who is immensely beastlier. Not like you are short on any big bodies to give him a cover save either!

I see you really struggling with objectives. Biggest unit of gaunts you could have would still be too small to deal with gunfire well. Maybe more gaunts?

Re:2k Nid

Well, for objective's sake you could take a Tervigon (as a troop choice) to sit on your nearest object while mycetic sporing a couple of your squads of gaunts and bring them in later on in the game to claim another one without taking shedloads of wounds getting there. Plus the spores can act as cover (make sure you model the spores nice n big ).
