For the extra 250, i would stick in a 5 man squad of thunder hammer termies and basically gaurd the tactical squad that stays back and fires the plasma cannon from a bolstered defence using the thunderfire techmarines ability, and possibly stick extra armour on the normal dread and a twin linked lascannnon on the razor. Or else some multi-melta landspeeders.

I made this list as i like dreads. But yeah it could do with a tweak, but i won 2, drew 1 and lost 2 at this years throne of skulls. One loss was against Ghaz/kff mek/battlewagon deffrolla mob orks (need i say more) and the other was an annihilation game that finished on turn 5 when my opponent had 3 models left and i had a multimelta sitting next to all of them, and rolled a 1 for the game to continue (most ridiculous loss ever!, go figure)

the preds are there to pop transports with the dreads, plasma cannon and thunderfire going to work on whatever spills out. 5 man squad rides with vulkan in the Razor and acutally makes a decent little finisher unit as 2 twin linked heavy flame and flamer templates then charging with a relic blade and powerfist can usually finish most stuff off (not death company, thats why i stuck in the plasma cannon)
