So I am new to Warhammer, but have played quite a few games now. Usually play against some friends who have Eldar, Orks and Chaos.

Basically, there's a grudge match so it's going to be me and Chaos vs Eldar and Orks and I need a 1500pt list to that effect.

I don't percieve the Eldar as much of a problem, I have played them before and have an idea what I am doing. It's just those damn Orks.

He uses a horde army of mostly Boyz I think then puts Ghazkull and some nobz in a Battlewagon and sends it straight at us. Oh and some Deffkopters.

So basically I need a list that isn't going to get me killed pretty easy.

Currently I own:

1 Nightbringer
2 Lords
1 Lord w/ Mount
40+ Warriors
Some Scarab Swarm (enough for a squad I reckon)
6 Destroyers
1 Heavy Destroyer
6 Flayed ones
1 Monolith

I don't mind buying some more stuff, if it's stuff I need

Any suggestions would be most appriecated!

Choices I would concentrate on from your models are the monolith, the 6 destroyers and your HQ choices. I would go for both lords, one with the destroyers and one with the warriors, but against poor ork shooting the nightbringer does sound interesting. Maybe you could proxy him for the deceiver?!

If you were looking at buying anything for the list, then I'm afraid the most expensive option is the best one - another monolith!

I don't actually have THAT much CC and even less in the way of transport to get them there, here's what I own:

1 x Terminator Chaos Lord,
15 x CSM
8 x Zerkers
8 x Noise Marines
8 x Possessed
2 x Obbys
1 x Rhino
1 x Defiler

I actually kind of want you to tell me to get more CC because the times I've used my zerkers they've not let me down

Um sounds good, Destroyer lord with a large unit of scarabs is deadly. Oh and I know they are slow, but Terminators are the laughing stock against Pariahs.

HQ deceiver and lord on skimmer body
Troop 3*10 warriors
FA 6 destroyers
HS Monolith

Add a few toys on the lord and that's your 1500. Key is how you play it. Start warriors in reserve, use the monolith and deceiver ability to keep them out of CC. Chaos and the lash can also assist in that. On a side note, are you talking about 'Decieve'? I've never used the Decieve before.

Lord starts with destroyers to stop him being picked out, but remember he can unattach and charge units or move to intercept anyone closing with your warriors.
