				<description><![CDATA[ Is it allowed for me to combine a space marine army with imperial guard army? I have been getting massacred by horde armies and i need some cheap troops to hold objectives.]]></description>

This is under the "By the Authority of the Immortal Emperor of Mankind" rule on page 26 of the Witchhunters codex. 				<description><![CDATA[ No, simply put you can't mix codexi with the exception of apocalypse, multiple detachments which only take place in higher point games, the original <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(30);'>DH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(144);'>WH</span> codex's or the 'by the imortal emperor of mankind' rules in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(30);'>DH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(144);'>WH</span> codexi which allow certain units to be 'inducted' into a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(30);'>DH</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(144);'>WH</span> army.<br /> <br /> If your having trouble with hordes try;<br />  - rifle dreads<br />  - missile launcher devastators<br />  - bolter marines, lots of them<br />  - blast templates (thunderfire cannons, whirlwinds, vindis)<br />  - sternguard for those tough horde targets<br />  - flamers on dreads, command squads, bikes and assault marines<br />  - staying inside cheap metal boxs and using them as bunkers<br />  - dakka preds<br /> <br /> But apart from that and a few other choices <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> are completely and utterly useless against hordes, its one of those great injustices that needs to be fixed next codex [sarcasm/]<br /> <br /> Good luck!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Witch Hunters can ally with Space Marines. Both of the troop choices are significantly cheaper than Space Marines, but not Imperial Guard cheap. I don't know that that's the answer to your horde problem, but there it is.]]></description>
