				<title>Nobz wound allocation query.</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Going to a tournie in feb, and I'm running Ghaz, with six Nobz in a Battlewagon. Just checking I am reading the would allocation right, and if all the Nobz are geared different (they are) they in effect have to loose seven wounds (barring <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>ID</span>) before I need to remove one? <br /> <br /> Just checking as a mate questioned if that was correct, and if we'd recieve problems for pulling it at a tournie, or would need to explain it to opponents. <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ That is correct; you should not receive any flak for it at a tourney(unless your opponent is unfamiliar with the rules).<br /> <br /> for best results bookmark your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(13);'>BRB</span> on page 26(if you don't mind doing it; highlight the 3rd paragraph under "units of multiple wound models", or just remember that that is the paragraph you need to have your opponent read).]]></description>

You MIGHT get to that point, but it's not likely.<br /> <br /> If you take 4 wounds from a source, you apply those 4 wounds to your Nobz.  You have 6 Nobz in your unit.  So you apply 1 wound to 4 different Nobz.  2 of the Nobz fail their save, so now you have two different Nobz with 1 wound, and the other 4 don't have wounds.<br /> <br /> Now lets say you take another 5 wounds.  You apply 4 wounds to your unwounded Nobs, and you apply the 5th wound to one of your Nobz who already has suffered a wound.  You make all your saves EXCEPT for the Nob that had already suffered a wound!  Unlucky for you, and that model is removed.  So now the group of Nobz has only suffered 3 unsaved wounds, but has still lost a model.<br /> <br /> If your Nobz are only taking wounds 2 or 3 at a time, it'll be easier to manage.  If you get gunned down by rapid fire guns or a pie plate and suffer a lot of wounds at once, then wound allocation is a bit harder.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ah cool, thanks everyone. <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Oh and I do understand the sharing out the wounds bit, thats why I used the 'in effect' wording as there are potential ways to lose them quickier.<br /> <br /> I'm mainly checking so I can show the thread and the exact part in the rulebook to my mate so he knows theres nothing to worry about.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(325);'>Tbh</span> after a couple of games only reaching turn four last year at the Doubles.  I just wanted an army that meant all in all likelyhood we get to turn six every game. <br /> <br /> Even if it hurts me in the long run, by having such an elite Ork part to our army. Rolla wagons full of solid assault troops or burna templates will ruin most everyone's day.<br /> But sometimes that scouted turn one vendetta barrage nails you with all three lascannons on the side armor, you fail the saves, and your army stumbles and just can't recover. It's all in the dice, how the opponent builds, and how redundant you can make your force.<br /> <br /> And yes, another thumbs up on the nob allocation functioning that way.<br /> Nobs are even used as an example in the multiple multiwound model section, and are clearly specifically allowed to be built as individually equipped model-to-model.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I just keep my nobs in reserve in a trukk, they always make it into combat just fine that way =).<br /> <br /> But yeah you can play the wound allocation game.
