That's a pretty good collection!! A lot of people point to ghouls being the new hotness for VC in 8th edition, but a large unit of skeletons can work.

I don't play VC, but I believe you have enough here to make a list for a decent point level to try everything out, and then decide if you want/need to add anything to it.

Re:new to WHFB i have some Models VC and could any one help me put a list together. and advice! with vc

Hi!!

i would suggest to start a list at about 1500 points.
with the models you have i would suggest something like this:

HEROES
Vampire, forbiden lore(vampire),lord of the dead, talisman of preservation
Vampire, blood drinker, avatar of death, infinite hatred.

CORE
25 skellies, FC, spears
25 skellies, FC, spears
corpse cart, balefire

SPECIAL
20 grave guard, FC
4 fell bats

RARE
varghulf

not sure about the points, but it should be close enough. one thing you should know about vc. they rely on their magic alot, (especially the necromancy spells) and they have to protect their general at all costs.
i would use the wizard vampire and started to raise my skellies into bigger blocks, while i would crash with the guard. use th varghulf to guard flanks and to support your charges. put the fighty vamp in the gg unit to maximise its effectiveness. dont forget he can also do ION which can come in handy for his unit if your other vamp is too far.
use the bats for warmachine hunting, redirecting charges and mage hunting. finally keep the cart close to your units to use its bound spell.
hope i helped.

The list Rockabill posted looks pretty good, but I would try to fit in the Helm of Commandment to give the skeleton block WS 7. Really amazing piece of wargear.

new to WHFB i have some Models VC and could any one help me put a list together. and advice! with vc

The Helm of Command on a vampire with the Fencer's Blades, plus the Banner of the Barrows in a unit of Grave Guard with great weapons is a sick combo I've seen a few times.

Ghouls are, against anything S5 or lower, better than skeletons, and against S6 or higher, it's debatable. But that's not to say that skeletons are bad by any means.

That list looks pretty solid. I always thought a 4+ Ward and the Blood Drinker on your general would be a worthwhile endeavor, if you can manage it.

One thing I would like to point out from my experience from playing against the VC: people will generally let you cast the Invocation, but will do what they can to stop your Danse from resolving; in 8th, having the Danse essentially gives VC a 360 charge arc, as long as you're within 12".

But people also don't like to have their generals or BSB sniped out of units. I played against a guy who had the Loremaster (Death) and Master of the Dark Arts abilities, and I was hard-put to (1) keep my poor little characters alive and (2) stop him from charing me in the flank.
