Thought I would put this out to get some comment



He is the start of my Alpha Legion cell, but i am trying not to go down the chaosy route just more menacing yet antiquate looking with no aquilas or chaos stars just some hydra icons, but he is still very WIP I have other things like shoulder pads and backpack to add yet.

I have always been a fan of Legion XX but never put enough though behind it before until reading LEGION which spurred me into starting to build a cell.

I have a pretty large Renegade militia army and I wanted to add another force to it for Apoc games so XX was my first port of call.

The look I am going for is not chaos at all, just try and make them uniform that any one of them could be Alpharius, but at the same time antiquated and menacing with little to no embellishment on their armour at all and also try and use older style armours like mark V & mark VI but I suppose newer pieces will be added to show that they recover enemy equipment to reuse themselves. I will probably just use the standard Marine codex with a few ( Counts As ) characters thrown in Like Sicarus, Tigurius and Telion.

I have been watching and reading Migsula's threads over and over they are an inspiration to any Legion player or anyone with an interest in 40k modeling or gaming.

The staff is made from a Fantasy chaos knight halbert ( cut the top half of above the hand and the arm at the wrist ).
The part above the hand is cut from a cities of death winged skull ornament.
Then four high elf dragon icons.
and to top it of a fantasy empire cannonball.
