Help! What should I do? Bad Mold?

Here's my predicament. One of the holes where the floorboard to my rhino is supposed to go is filled in. I guess it did not get cut properly somewhere along the way. Should I sand down the edge of the floor to match or try and cut a hole where one is supposed to be? Any ideas?

Pics: (stupid autofocus camera not autofocusing)

http://img228.imageshack.us/i/imgp5628.jpg/

http://img513.imageshack.us/i/imgp5627.jpg/

Step 1:

Turn on the MACRO button on your camera (the flower) and make sure the camera is absolutely still when you snap the shot.

Step 2:

Call GW customer service. They're usually very very good when it comes to sending replacement parts.

You could call customer support and have them send you a new sprue. Personally, I would just take off that little tab on the floor piece, and just glue it on. Make sure it's lined up good and straight first though!

Almost every rhino chassis tank I've built has had that bit filled in with the ever so thin bit of plastic, I just take my hobby knife and poke it out and smooth out the flash. Its not in a place anyone will ever see once the model is done anyways so don't worry TOO much about it.

Sand the floor plate or cut/drill the hole as you originally suggested. Make good with putty if necessary.

This sort of issue is not uncommon on older GW models and doesn't represent a bad individual moulding so much as a bad original design. In other words, you probably can't get a better part by complaining because they don't exist.

The old Speeders were a nightmare, I've heard, and I know from experience that the Tau Crisis suits fit poorly and need a lot of work.

It's just something you have to deal with.
