It looks not "cool". So im looking for some tips for making nice industrial, posessed bases for my nurgles and tyranids.
And here i have problem:
for my tyranid genestealers/gaunts (as you know) bases have a gap for placing in it miniature. If i cut stand on mini i cant glue it to base (mini stands on a single nail and cant stand tight).

Materials you want to look for include:
# floor tile
# plastic card rod and tube
# plastic card with tile design
# variable grain sand

The various plastics can be used as is. The floor tile chips and breaks like concrete - it can also be etched with designs.

Cut circles using a circle cutter.

Cement on to the top of the base with polystryene cement.

Polystyrene figures can be cemented on top of the plastic card, because it is polystyrene. They will fix quite well if they have flat feet.

For metal figures, fill the underneath of the base with Plastic Padding.

Drill and pin the metal figure's feet to the base, using Superglue or epoxy cement. You can also do this with plastic figure which are only one foot to the ground.

For added detail you can put bits of pipe (sprue) and other equipment lying around.

I would cut off the slotta, and cement the feet directly to the base.

I would paint the models off the base, paint the bases separately, and cement them together at the end.

I like to use spray paints as much as possible.
