2000pt Dual Storm Raven/Jump Hybrid. Suicide? You decide.

After a LOT of deliberation and list rewrites, I think I may have finally boiled down what I believe to be a balanced Raven/Jump list.

I feel like it features enough separate facets to combine each type of army effectively. It has first off, two Ravens for redundancy and a bit more survivability. If I go first turn, I am able to deploy right from the start and get a pseudo-alpha strike with the Ravens potentially taking out 4 separate threats due to power of the machine spirit (I'm still waffling on the weapons loadout for them). If they are not able to go first then I can reserve them and usually walk them in, and maybe occasionally deep strike. Also, due to Dante making the Sanguinary Guard scoring, they could potentially play the backfield to objective camp in dire need (iffy, but theyd do a damn good job).

The rest of the army drops, and pops threats to the Ravens and transports. At this point we're looking at 4 more hardy melta squads when combat squad'd. Add that to the previous raven fire and it's and impressive amount. Following that is 3 hearty elite units ready to assault from the ramps. 25 scoring Troops, a lot of firepower, 3 dedicated assault units, all with different purpose. The only thing I wish it had more of are priests, as there are only 2 FnP bubbles covering the army, and no Libby.

Everything above is best case scenario of course, but I feel like the main issues with the lone raven hybrid Doa has been addressed.
Thoughts? Flames? Suggested Changes?

-------------------

Dante
Honor Guard x5 (Jump Pack x5 Meltagun x3)
Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
Sanguinary Priest (Jump Pack)*

Storm Raven (Typhoon Missile Launcher Lascannon Bloodstrikes x4 Extra Armour)*
Sanguinary Guard x5 (Infernus Pistol x2)

Storm Raven (MultiMelta Assault Cannon Bloodstrikes x4 Extra Armour)*
Assault Terminators x5 (TH/SS x5)
Furioso Dread (Blood Talons)*

2000

Also the furioso switches places.

All in all, I think the list becomes more surviveable, with 4 FnP bubbles now. However, the veterans lack the damage output and mitigation of the Sanguinary Guard, not to mention they aren't scoring units. Also, With no Dante, that means no uber-character, no hit-and-run to break away from combat for his squad, and no deployment without scatter dice.

I feel as though this list is more push button and sliiiiightly more forgiveable, but the other list has more of a "fun-factor" as well as slightly more tactical strategy leeway, though it's required to be taken advantage of. Any other opinions?

You just need to get another dread to assault out of the second raven. The dreadnought assault is one of the best things about the raven, and if only one raven has a dread, its pretty obvious which one I should shoot at.

Furioso's are mobile infantry blenders, I have seen them crush everything from Marine squads, Boyz squads (even with PK's), 20 man DE squads, all the way to 5 man TH/SS terminators (albeit the TH/SS could have just as easy killed the dread with poorer rolls on my side and better rolls on his.)

Something else to consider: Your HG, you could use them as one of your assault units in a Raven by removing the JP's and giving them 4 LC's add a Chapter Banner with a Librarian support. With unleash rage, on the charge you'll get:

20- str 5 int 5 re-roll hit/ re-roll wound power weapon wounds, 5 str 5 int 5 re-roll hit force weapon wounds, and 5 more re-roll hit wounds.

Here's one with 2 ravens with 2 dreads, 3 FnP bubbles, 5 potential foot melta squads, and some DC thrown in for good measure. This could be a more basic list based around duality ravens. I still like the first list the most, as I feel it would be the most fun to play semi competitively.

But this one has the Death Company going for it, so minus the control factor and plus the cool factor. (this was not a response to your comment tyler, ironically enough they just fit the force org the best.)

Honor Guard x5 (Jump Pack x5 Meltagun x3)
Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
Sanguinary Priest (Jump Pack)*

Storm Raven (Extra Armour)*
Reclusiarch
Death Company x5 (PWx5)
Death Company Dread

Storm Raven (Extra Armour)*
Assault Terminators x5 (TH/SS x5)
Sanguinary Priest
Furioso Dread (Blood Talons)*

I think this may be the list I end up using for real world cost reasons. Seems like a quite the fun list to play for me at least. Small, elite, with some really killy units, but up to 5 potential objective holding squads, up to 10 potential meltagun pops a turn. 2 Ravens. 2 Dreads (damn force org makin life difficult )

225 Dante
235 Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
235 Assault Squad x10 (Power Fist Meltagun x2)
150 Sanguinary Priest x2 (Jump Pack x2)

215 Storm Raven (Multimelta Lascannon Extra Armour)
250 Sanguinary Guard x5 (Infernus Pistol x2 Chapter Banner)
105 Dreadnought (Multimelta Storm Bolter Bloodfist)*

215 Storm Raven (MultiMelta Lascannon Extra Armour)*
225 Assault Terminators x5 (TH/SS x5)
125 Furioso Dread (Meltagun Storm Bolter Blood Talons)*
