				<title>Battle damage ?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ i was thinking about appling battle damage to my vechiles after games like for example , paint a vehicle up , just out of the factory condition , then lightly add battle damage until i no longer want to , E.g blood on the dozer blades , claws and rust on chains .<br /> <br /> does this seem stupid , any guides / tips on how to do this , not badly like me]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ It is a fine idea.  It would be fun to dedicate battle damage to historic moments in the game where you epic rolled or your opponent epic failed.  Would add lots of personality to vehicles.  How to do it is trickier,  just normal weathering effects would be nice, on a small section at first and do larger more elaborate damage as your skills improve and the vehicles see more action!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ That is definately not stupid for a chaos player (I presume), I play chaos and battle damage is pretty much standard because the vehicles are milleniums old. They need some blood because they are Chaos, no matter what warband you paint, you need blood.<br /> <br /> If its a vehichle then just paint some metal around hatches, ladders or anything that would come in frequent contact with marines. Add some rust effects to the treads of the vehicle by basecoating it in tin bitz, then drybrush in boltgun or chainmail then a devlan mud to make it look dirty. If your looking for a good blood effect then Tamiya clear red makes a really good blood for dozer blades, chainswords, chainaxes or even trophy racks.<br /> <br /> Some weathering effects you could use such as chips in the paint is easily done by painting boltgun in tiny areas that could see alot of damage in, but make sure not to overdo it. Dust or dirt effects can be done by drybrushing a brown, earthy colour like scorched brown and graveyard earth or bestial brown over areas that would get dirty like around the lower parts of a vehicle.<br /> <br /> These are very simple effects that can make a huge difference to your army.<br /> Hope this helps!!! <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks guys ! , i've already got loads to do with my vehicles ,<br /> my first game with the defiller , its blew up 12 marines and ripped a fire prism open ;3.<br /> <br /> My rhino does a fair amount to be honest , tank shocked servitors and deployed the marines to kill the tech marines ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Subtle but realistic weathering of regular contact points (ladder rungs, points of rusted treads that rub together, etc.) can be achieved with graphite.  Just rub a soft pencil lead over the area and seal with varnish.  Takes no time and the effect is spot on.]]></description>

Wipe most of the paint off, and dab the sponge around the model, particularly on the edges, but a little everywhere for balance. I use Charadon granite for this and then I paint a little Boltgun metal on the hard edges.<br /> <br /> Click on my gallery and look for the Tallarn tanks if you would like to see how it looks. The pictures sadly aren't quite clear enough to show the effect well, but everyone seems to like the look.]]></description>

It's mostly Scorched brown, then my highlight color (in this pic blood red with elf flesh), then some sparse metallics...
