				<description><![CDATA[ Hellcannons aren't even the scariest thing in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> book. Sure, they're a bit undercosted given that you get a competent combat monster as well as one of the game's scariest stone throwers, but there's an answer for them, and a fairly cheap one at that, in almost everybody's list. <br /> <br />  <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

Not a chance they're too much in a competative environment; you're not even allowed more than 1 until 1640pts, but nobody plays at that level, so you'd be left waiting till 1750/1850 when there are loads of counters.<br /> <br /> You'd be able to have 4 at 3280pts (so usually 3500pts), vs an army which is probably rife with counters.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

This is mostly for my benefit because I play Ogre Kingdoms. I say bring 2-3 of anything and then tone it down if your regular and frequent opponents don't seem to enjoy the games you play with them. This being said, it's important to realize a little bit of complaining about your opponent's units and their special rules is often common, from both sides of the board. This is to be ignored, or  even reciprocated, depending on circumstances. <br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Considering that the points where you can get a second/third/fourth hellcannon are usually times when your opponents have ample counters, I see nothing wrong at all with dumping 2 of them in at 2000-2999pts and then 3 at 3000-3279pts with 4 at 3280pts and above.<br /> <br /> The amount of counters available at those levels even out the playing field. At 2k, Empire could field several cannons and mortars in comparison to our 2 possible hellcannons. Armies without that kind of fire-power can usually tarpit for eternity or magic you away. That's not to say that every army has a counter, but the majority of armies do in some form or another that makes maxing out hellcannons whenever possible less of a guilty pleasure and more of a back-up plan in case your original one gets sniped on the first turn.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I wouldn't complain if I saw two on the field. They are nasty, gross, high cost war machines. Throw a few lists together I say and see if another unit of warriors would work better on the tabletop. The big problem I see with Hellcannons is they're limiting what you do with the rest of the army - points and maneuvering of units. One less unit makes it that hard to get around those speedbumps and distractions.<br /> <br /> Besides, as someone else already said for every hellcannon that hits the table I can drop 2-3 warmachines with Empire. You can keep your 2 hellcannons if you want to play against my 3 mortars and 3 cannons. ]]></description>
