If you go with spears, you can have a shield, 41 attacks at S3. [in a horde of 40.]

If you go with an extra choppa, you can't use a shield [which, in most cases can be useless anyway.] you get 42 attacks [+1 for every one, including boss.]
And, you strike at S4

Or, you can strike at S4 with 31 attacks, and get a 5+ save and a 6+ parry save.

I'd beleive quantity of quality, but maybe the blocky control of a S4 5+6+ is best.

At S3, you mind as well pick up any other army that uses them

I like a mix of dual choppas and shields.
