Fearless wyches and no retreat

I was going to go with yes, but I think you're right. While No Retreat! allows "all types of saves, except cover saves", the Dodge rule for witches specifically says it's a 4+ invulnerable against wounds caused by close combat attacks. These wounds were caused by being fearless/No Retreat, not specifically close combat attacks. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it was FAQ'd to say they got the save, but as written I'd say they don't.

Fearless wyches and no retreat

Rules as written, I'd say that you do not get your 4+ invul save, but you get your 4+ FNP save anyway so it's pointless. But I don't have the DE codex so I can't be sure...it depends on the semantics. If it says that you get the save for wounds suffered in close combat, I'd say yes because you were in close combat, and you suffered a wound! Wound in close combat = save. However, if it says that you only take the save against wounds caused by close combat attacks, they no, you don't get the save.

Fearless wyches and no retreat

The exact wording: wyches have a 4+ invulnerable saving throw against wounds caused by close combat attacks.

This is interesting. Someone could actually argue that Fearless wounds are caused by losing combat which is caused by close combat attacks.
