35 Points of Bacon Thorn Fall Alliance

I haven only seen Lord carver played in 2 games and I have to admit I love his rush and smash play style. This list is designed to capitalize on this concept, having pigs with aggression dial, Rorsh and Brine to bring some additional animus face smashy goodness. The Brigands are there mostly to capitalize on CRA that Lord carver grants them and to force my opponents positioning preferably right into the loving hands of my war Hogs for Carvers feat. The armies I see this list having the most issue with are those that can slow down my heavies i.e. Haley, and Denny.

Even so Rorsh and Brine allow me to basically run three heavies full bore(no pun intended) and be able to do so again the next turn with little to no consequence. Despite having a lot of points spent in heavies This list still has a good ranged support component to help me pick off annoying solos or even a warcaster/lock should the opportunity present itself. It also has all kinds of movement shannanigans to keep my opponents on their toes if not down right frustrated.

Thoughts comment and criticisms are greatly appreciated.

List name: Kevin's Bacon (kidding)

Lord Carver

War Hog

War Hog

Farrow Brigands (Leader and 5 Grunts)

Farrow Brigands (Leader and 5 Grunts)

Gudrun the Wanderer

Rorsh & Brine

Alten Ashley

I am not sure where or how to mix in a gun boar, I need to keep both War Hogs for fury generation, the 2 units of Brigands is pretty well essential and giving up both of my solos strikes me as a poor idea.

Any thoughts as to how I would weave a gun boar into this list?

If you're not willing to drop any of the solos or the brigands, you're pretty much stuck.

Personally, Ashley would go along with the points from combining the two units 6 brigands into a single unit of 10 would get you there. Ashley is good if all you'll ever fight is Hordes but he's a speed bump against a warmachine army. The animus off the gun boar is better than Ashley, IMO. Plus it gives you a way to deal with stealth at range since it's an AoE.

Re:35 Points of Bacon Thorn Fall Alliance

Thats a good idea I will play test it both ways to see which performs better. I am a little worried about combining the 2 brigand units simply for the sake of being able to manage to CRA's a turn vs just one larger CRA. But the point about dealing with stealth solo's like Eiryss is a great point. Thanks man.
