Decorative Masking?

Companies like modello designs offer templates with designs in them to use as masking for painting/sandblasting wood, ceramic, etc. They have a nice range of patterns but the problem is these masking/stencils don't work well on tiny miniatures. Does anyone have a source for decorative masking products that are tiny enough to be useful on 40k vehicles?

Decorative Masking?

Properly scaled printout of desired design + thin vinyl sheet + fresh X-acto blade. Decently thin vinyl is quite flexible and clings like a , so you should be able to make very effective stencils relatively simply. If there's a signage shop nearby, pop in and see if they don't have some offcuts they'd be willing to part with on the cheap or, ideally, free of charge.
