				<description><![CDATA[ Local guy did the Magnus' starter box and Steelhead halbards and cav.  Seems like it'd be a good start to about any non-Rhulic/Pirate mercs.  I'd have to put Sam and her double D's, Gorman/Epic Eiryss, and the Piper as the next three.<br /> <br /> Mercs are likely to be more solo heavy than unit heavy.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I play Four Star as my Mercenaries.<br /> <br /> Magnus theme isn't part of the Four Star Syndicate, they're mutually exclusive. Though since Four Star has no special rules I would always recommend checking to see if the list you have can be fielded under a theme list or alternate contract to gain some special rules.<br /> <br /> I'd recommend Nyss Hunters over Steelhead gunners and since the Magnus box set is now <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(277);'>OOP</span> I see no need to use it as a template. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span> Magnus loves the (sniped) Mule more than he loves other warjacks. <img src="/s/i/a/3280d57d913d8178fb42a55db16d1e89.gif" border="0"> <br /> <br /> Magnus, Mule, Renegade and Vanguard is a tasty 13 point list, or with thee addition of a Buccaneer a tasty 15 point theme list. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Big question is do we want to talk about Mags, or do we want to talk about 4* in general? If it's the latter both dwarves offer something special to 4* armies, Durgen brings more hitting power with prime and Gorten offers more survivability with solid ground. Also they both have access to the driller, helping somewhat with the normal "how do we deal with high armor" questions mercs often have.]]></description>
