Its a neat trick but can only ever be done with 2-3 of those casino dice. There's a story from the intro to my copy of Scarne on Cards (second printing, 1949), in which Scarne stuns a group of veteran gamblers with his ability to reliably cut an ace from a shuffled deck of cards. He does it every time, and they can't figure it out. He finally explains how he does it, and it's a ridiculously difficult technique.
