The Necron lord is the only examplr I have... Which I was trying to make look bronze, but it really works! OP's looks quite bronze, or even, the way it's applied to the Necron, like rust.

I'm not a very good painter, but I did something like what 40K Ninja did when I was painting my Space Marines a couple months ago, and it worked well. I don't have them with me, or any pictures of them, which is unfortunate. I don't think, in terms of detail, they're very good, but I think I got the actual gold color nearly perfectly.

I undercoated the minis Chaos Black.
I basecoated them with Iyanden Darksun.
I then painted them with... I don't remember, the darker of Vallejo Burnished or Glorious (?) Gold
Wash with Gryphonne Sepia
Drybrush the other gold.
Wash with Badab Black

I used to use P3 Brass Balls for stuff that I'd want to be gold.
