Un-Warding codex: Blood Angels

I've been trying to take all the sillyness out of BA codex and try to make it more fair for friendly games. I've been trying the next rule changes out in few matches and so far they've been working quite nicely. But I'm still interested what people in Dakka think and also if you guys have any good ideas.
So far what I've changed is:

Angelus Bolt-gun: raise AP to 5
Blood Claws: extra attacks do not generate extra attacks
Dreadnought: Missilelauncher +5pts. Can be taken as Heavy Support or Elite
Furioso Dreadnoughts: lower AV to 12/12/10
Descent of Angels: +3pts per model that has this rule or gets it from wargear
Dante: remove the "curse enemy IC" rule, add Eternal warrior
Mephiston: New statline 6/5/5/5/4/6/3/10/	2+
Assault Squad: Can get rhino or drop-pod for free when removing jump-packs. Anything else with normal costs
Devastators: Point costs for heavy weapons same as in codex: Space Marines
Predators, Baal Predators, Vindicators, Razorbacks, Whirlwinds: point cost +10pts
Landraider+variants: remove Deepstrike. Can be taken as Heavy Support
Searchlights: Default upgrade for free to all vehicles that has option for it
Glaive Encarmine: Change to relic blade from Codex: Space Marines. Point cost +5pts when taken as upgrade
Sanguinary Priests: Grants FNP and Furious charge only to the unit they're attached to.
Shield of Sanguinius: Works only on non-vehicle units.
Furioso Librarian: add Ld10 to it's statline.
Drop-pod:Increase the passenger capacity to 12 models

I know this is lots of toning-down but I recommend trying in out before judging too harshly.
Comments?

Re:Un-Warding codex: Blood Angels

Thanks for the input Valkyrie, here's my reasoning for the stuff I tried out so far.

Angelus Bolt-gun: raise AP to 5
Ap4 seems adequate, to represent the special Bloodshard shells used which are slightly better than Bolt shells
It's still a bolt-gun

Blood Claws: extra attacks do not generate extra attacks
If no extra attacks are generated, what reason do I have to take these instead of the Blood Fists?
I think you misunderstood this one. Extra attacks would be generated only from the normal attacks. No extra attacks from extra attacks.

Furioso Dreadnoughts: lower AV to 12/11/10
Why?
Furioso has only +20pts point cost. For that price +2WS and AV13/12/10 is kinda insane. Reducing the AV same as normal dread seems fair to me.

Descent of Angels: +3pts per model that has this rule or gets it from wargear
Not a good suggestion. DoA is the special unique rule for BA, ergo they shouldn't have to pay for it. DA don't pay for Deathwing Assault, SM don't pay for Combat Tactics
They already get Red Thirst instead of Combat tactics.

Dante: remove the "curse enemy IC" rule
It's a good rule, it doesn't seem to be broken
It only reduces the worth of enemy IC by 75% before the game even starts. That alone is easily worth 100+pts. And he's a good character even without it.

Mephiston: New statline 6/5/5/5/4/6/3/10/ 2+
Partially agree with you there, but I've never used Mehp so I don't have something to compare him to.
4th ed Mephiston was nasty already. Boosting him without really increasing the point cost is just weird and unfair. I understand why people hate him nowadays so much.

Assault Squad: Can get rhino or drop-pod for free when removing jump-packs. Anything else with normal costs
Good, but could encourage even more spammy Razor-rush lists
That would actually reduce Razor-rush since they wouldn't get razors with discount.

Predators, Baal Predators, Vindicators, Razorbacks, Whirlwinds: point cost +10pts
Why? Vindis, for example, already cost +40pts more than vanilla SM, why do they need an extra 10pts?
Can't remember the Vindicator costs at the moment. Will check on that. As for others, that would balance the cost of being Fast. Except for Rhinos. Don't think they're fine already even with fast.

Landraider+variants: remove Deepstrike. Can be taken as Heavy Support
DSing Raiders are another unique BA thing, just like DoA. It is fine just as it is, as it has it's drawbacks
It's just free extra rule for BA. It's still exactly same vehicle for same price than other marines have. I see it's not a good thing to give them free rules. Maybe make it as optional upgrade instead?

Glaive Encarmine: Change to relic blade from Codex: Space Marines. Point cost +5pts when taken as upgrade
Giving Sang Guard S6 is a bit OP
Now this comes with increased ap of the gun, +3pts per model for DoA and losing one re-roll to hit. As for single change it would be slightly OP.

Sanguinary Priests: Grants FNP and Furious charge only to the unit they're attached to.
If so, their cost would have to be lowered significantly.
They're still very cheap for what they can do.

Shield of Sanguinius: Works only on non-vehicle units.
This is just the same as a KFF, why shouldn't it affect vehicles?
To avoid rules disputes. Alternatively it could have "vehicles count as obscured" written in to it.

Furioso Librarian: add Ld10 to it's statline.
Why?
To avoid confusion and rules disputes

Drop-pod:Increase the passenger capacity to 12 models
IIRC, doesn't a Pod already have a cap of 12?
Vanilla Marines have capacity of 12 and BA 10. I reckon since they're same vehicles, they should use same rules. That way ICs can join drop-pod units that are full strength.

More comments and suggestions are appreciated.
