I started painting scale models when I was 9 -
I stopped when I reached my teens because the hobby was quite expensive.
Actually now that I remember, I bought a Space Marine box but back then I wasn't familiar with models with bases

It has always been my dream to own an airbrush but that didn't come true until I entered college haha


That's my really first model - desert/jungle camo Corsair! Historically correct!

I was introduced to Warhammer in late 2009 by a group of Frenchies at my college. Painted my first 25mm mini then and now painting everyday to improve my skills.
People whose work I admire are: Giganticdark, Brokenblade, Les Burley, Sang Ong Lee, and lot of other people from whom I learned many techniques from.

Now move on to my recent project
Working on a Blood Angel army commission atm, so here we go






Base was made using Gf9 Greystuff molded with Insta Mold

The owner likes blue so blue it is. This model is really hard to assemble. Got 2 blisters from pinning the joints; had to drill 20 holes !!!





Just finished painting for today so it's time for breakfast.
Will need to shade the beast, do some HL and whatnot. Been working on various projects for 11 hours - brain is fried.

Okay - I've decided to take a break from commission works and work on my own project for a change.

Here's my own convert wolfeys - original conversion concept from SWgrey blog thanks to them.



Painting concept - I'm tired of the toyish style of painting so I've decided to break the style and create something more artistic.

I'm trying to achieve something more impressionistic and semi-monochromatic, if that's the right things to call it. Using as little colors and emphasize on the highlight and shade.

This is heavily inspired by chiascuro arts and mixing that with object source lighting technique.
Also - I'm trying to challenge myself and practice on feathering technique - so white HL using the said technique all over. The rest was done with airbrush

I know the models look kinda crude and undone, but yeah here's a picture comparing my 2010 gaming piece with 2011
