So, I would potentially change two vendettas for valkyries and then add another vet squad + melta with a chimera for 155. Drop plasma to melta on one vet squad to save 15 points and drop one psyker to bring you back in.

Or keep the 3 vendettas, add two more chimeras. With the remaining 20 points you could replace the medusa with 2 hydras.

If you're looking to keep this list as as-is as is possible, I'd give the russ a lascannon and sponson bolters to everything that can take them with some doctrines for the vets, or a squad of plasma stormies.

i will never change my vendetta's, they have done to much for me... i winn battles because of them.

i have looked for some plas-stormies, but it is a simple kill point, 6 guys who came down, kill one thing and after that they will die.

hydra's could also, but i dont have the money to buy them.
and for the medusa, i like a bigg blast who can kill everything.

and what about this for 130 points? -> veterans, autocannon, 3* grenade launchers and forward senteries.

my reason for this will be my scoring units.
my melta vets have to go to the enemy line, so they will die when they step out.
the plasma vets will be shot and mostley they will die.

Veterans with 3x flamers, sergeant with power fist, demolitions and shotguns.
This unit costs 130 pts.
I have taken out so many points with this unit. They always do their job and get their worth back. In my last game they took out Vulcan and a tactical squad in one round. Lost 2 guardsmen in total from this (close combat vs vulcan who later died vs the power fist).

Though... I mount mine in a Valkyrie. this to be able to get closer to the enemy.
Valkyries are really something you should try, unless you already have. If I have to choose between a Vendetta and Valkyrie, I'll go for the Valkyrie. the number of shots and wounds it can cause is unbelievable.


On to your list. Tons of meltaguns and tons of Vendettas... Are there really so many tanks in the turnament your gonna join?

I have an Elysian army, and I field 2 Vendettas and 2 Valkyries (in a squadron).
To make up for you last Vendetta I have 1 or 2 units of Storm troopers armed with meltaguns. comes down to 105 pts each... sure its alot, but they take down their target and are not a target them selves from the beginning, as they deep strike (re-roll if not satisfied of course).

i have removed the PBS and a veteren squad with plasma gunners, and added a CCS with full plasma and a extra melta-vets with chimera

My only concern is that your horde busting is a little thin. I'd be heavily tempted to swap out the medusa for a couple of hydras or take it out infavor of throwing a bunch of heavy bolter sponsons everywhere.

I mean, with all the TLLCs and BS4 melta, the medusa is the least necessary part of your army at the moment.

@ joske de veteraan, my leman russ is not my top-priority target.
