What I'm looking for is if anyone out there has any experience playing the game. Maybe what resources online and in print their is for this game. And any other usefull tips you may have.

I know that several people make old west style figures and scenery. There's one person that does a fair few UK wargames shows who makes a large amount of resin scenery including a lot of buildings for the wild west. Could be expensive buying a whole town though. There used to be a Yahoo group back in the day but I can't find it now.

The basic game is based around a Mordheim-style campaign system for your "Posse". The "Blood on the Plains" expansion introduced cavalry rules and posses for 7th cavalry and Plains indians. The "Alamo" expansion introduced rules for larger games and rules for the US-Mexican war.

Beyond the rulebook we never really needed any other resources - there are scenarios enough there and you don't need any play-aids as such.

Finding the books in the US can be a bit challenging. Scale Creep has a few books left on discount.

I did not know they had so many games at Adepticon. I played the Samurai one and it was very fun (at COn of the North, by Aron Loomus. Sorry I know I'm spelling you name wronge).

I found paper terrain perfectly good - it's not a bad way to represent the clapboard and adobe buildings of the period which don't have as much surface texture as stone or even brick.

My terrain is doing double bubble for Malifaux these days!
