Armies on Parade Armies on Parade

Armies on Parade is your chance to plan, collect, model and paint an amazing new army, display it on a two foot by two foot board and show it off in all its glory in your local Hobby Center. Every store winner will then go on to proudly represent their community at Games Day, where all the winning armies from across North America will be on display and the ultimate Armies on Parade champion will be chosen.
Art Contest Art Contest

In this contest participants are encouraged to bring their imagination to life through drawing and painting works of art based on the Games Workshop fantasy worlds. Sit down and draw or paint something from Games Workshop's fantasy worlds of Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000 adhering to the established imagery of our games.
Banner Contest Banner Contest

Create a full-sized banner that embodies your passion for a particular unit or army with your own unique touches. Create it, design it, paint it, and bring it to Games Day to enter in the Banner Contest.
Costume Contest Costume Contest

Dress up as your favorite Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K or the Lord of the Rings character and dazzle attendees as you take your place in the Games Day photo album.
WH & 40K Conversion Contests WH & 40K Conversion Contests

Take the head from the Empire Elector Count, the body of a Space Marine bike, the arms of a Skaven Clan Rat and the feet of a Lizardmen Terradon and what do you get? We are not sure either, but if you can imagine it and build it in a limited time with unlimited parts, you may have a chance at winning or at the very least, will have a very cool model to take home.
Game Table Paint & Take Game Table Paint & Take

Take part in painting two huge Terrain Game Tables and earn your chance to take a section home. There will be a large Warhammer Fantasy Table and one will focus on painting a huge Warhammer 40,000 Table. Participants will get the chance to learn techniques on how paint a large realm of battle board (game table) made up of 2'x2' sections with a chance to take one of the sections home. Each table will have 3 sections raffled off at Games Day.
Monster Conversion Contest Monster Conversion Contest

Bring your Monstrous conversion to Games Day and enter to win the first ever Monster Conversion contest. This event is a great way to let your creativity come to life, by using existing models and bits from Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, War of the Ring/the Lord of the Ring game armies, participants are encouraged to convert them into new original monsters.
40K Vehicle Conversion Contest 40K Vehicle Conversion Contest

Create your own wheels and enter to win the 40K Vehicle conversion contest and ride home with a Games Day award. Do you have an idea for an innovative vehicle? This competition looks for the most outrageous conversion of a Warhammer 40,000 vehicle. Participants can use vehicles and bits to convert their own original vehicle.
Speed Demon Painting Contest Speed Demon Painting Contest

This event is for attendees that think they can paint the best model the fastest. Participants are given a primed and based miniature and have 45 minutes to paint the best masterpiece they can in the allotted time. Models are judged for their quick quality at the end of each round.
