GK termies and tacs,, 10 of each. I am trying to decide if I should keep trying to collect metal ones, sell them and get plastic ones, or just mix and match my metal w/ plastic. Has anyone done a comparison of how a metal one looks next to a plastic one? I would sure love to see a pic so I can decide on what I want to do.

GW stores (not for sale) and maybe select retailers. Regular people wont have them in hand for a couple more weeks...I do believe Apr 5th is the official release date. You can see images of much of the new GK stuff on the GW site or in the spoiler thread here. The images are good enough to give you an idea of the differences in the models.

The new GK's are plastic (yay!), but lack some of the details of the metal (left shoulder pad is not bare with a book on it, rather than having the intricate scrollwork that the metals have). Details on the terminators vary similarly.

One benefit or drawback to the new models, depending on your perspective, is the physical changes in the weapons.

Hmm. Perfect example of why internet communications fail so often. I read it very differently.

I saw him asking for a comparison (he didn't specify it as a PHOTO comparison), then asked for a pic. It read to me as if he wanted someone to tell him the differences, then show him pictures of the models.

Basically I was looking for a side by side picture, I am just hoping that I can run some new plastics side by side w/ the metal ones I have and have them not look to mismatched.

If you're going to mix them, I STRONGLY suggest you isolate them from each other. Each squad should be only one type. Don't mix types between squads, if you can avoid it.
