I wanted to get a feel for how grunts/jacks interact and I threw Orin in there for magic, and his lightning seemed pretty cool.

I am not trying to be TFG, so if I have made a mistake with my calculations or something doesn't look right - please let me know.

His ability: Countermeasure

Does it nullify ranged attacks if he's within 5" of an enemy,

Or

Does it create a 5" bubble that allows his group to proceed across the board?

Alexia and Risen are 5 points.

A unit of Devil Dogs is 5/7 points.

A Buccaneer is 3 points.

You either have to drop Orin or go with a minimum unit of Devil Dogs.

What you have isn't a list that will likely win you any tournaments, but that's not the point, right? Just remember to activate Orin after your spellcaster.
