I was thinking like a star or another shape, but I could easily do a band name (I'd love to have GAGA in those colors or Little Monster but I'd really think about it before I did it) or something. I'd like to stay away from the word "pride" because it's a little cheesy. Something music related could be cool ("Music has no gender" sounds kind of fun off the top of my head). Ideas, folks?

For me, I'm a pessimist and I always feel everyone else seems to have better luck than me. (And because of that I sarcastically say my lucky number is 13) With that, it turned into this:

@cannerus i would try to go for the Slaanesh symbol in one solid color with shading, possibly the purple with the other two colors outside of the symbol done in like smoky lines. This is a relatively bet for virtually any tattoo, unless you're a human ink factory in which case they probably all kinda blend. Right after I turned 18, I got a credit card from a recruiter on my college campus - I filled out the application to get a free* cd holder. Anyway, I got a cash advance from that and got my first tattoo, which is my name in mandarin, asian calligraphy being all the rage at the time. Right around a decade later, I kinda started regretting it. I don't speak chinese. I have no idea what it even says. Hmm...I would say the first few I got were more a combination of the two (as I said I was young)...but the rest were all about me and my love of tattoos.

Secondly... It's for life... No, it's not. A few laser treatments, which cost you about the same as the tattoo itself and your good to go. And who knows how well they will be at removing the things in the future.

If you're infatuated with someone you're not clear-headed so its best to wait a bit before names.

There are some tattoos that are acceptable for certain positions. Working at a 'family' retail store may require someone to not have visible tattoos. Someone with a sleeve may not be able to work at Disneyland unless they wear something over it.

Tattoos are also associated with the military from my perspective. Well, it depends on the tattoo I guess. My uncle and grandfather both have tattoos on their lower arms or shoulder. Then there's the kind of tattoos associated with prison, the face and hands.

Then there's the white guys who get the tribal armband and the sorority girls who get the chinese lettering. No one here, I'm just talking about the general oppinion from people on tattoos.

As for getting a tattoo while drunk. I believe it's illegal here for someone to put a tattoo on someone when he's under influence.

Any proper tattoo artist worth a damn won't ruin his reputation by tattooing a drunk person.

To the OP:

One big tip, do your research before you decide on where you got to get it. Just taking the convenient closes one, or the cheapest will often end in tears.
