Currently I think that there is no information regarding what may be released alongside the Hobbit movie, it's a bit far away and as I recall during the previous LOTR releases, GW was under a pretty tight Non Disclosure Agreement as to any material regarding the movie - I believe they could only release the miniatures after the movie was on show. Nice bit of info regarding plastic hobbits; don't care for the LotR or WotR games, but the minis are nice and the plastics are good when you need a quick batch of similarly equipped figures.
