[S3] 'The Bounty Hunter'

Hey there guys and gals!

This is something I've been working on this week (its the first character model I've painted in about 2 1/2 years, and the most painting I've done for about 18 months!).
Its not 100% finished, at least in my eyes; there are lots of little bits that I want to touch up, but I suffer with shaky hands and don't want to ruin what I have already done!

Apologies for the pic, i used my iphone - proper camera having gone awol :(

Hope you like

Stuart

That's pretty cool. I take it that you sculpted it yourself? Because good work. Is it supposed to be part of the 40k universe, or is it just a randomish sci-fi miniature?

It's also painted pretty well. Especially for someone who hasn't been painting in a while.

Re:[S3] 'The Bounty Hunter'

I did indeed sculpt it

I had intended to use it in a variety of games and settings (he's not too scifi, so he could fit into post apoc games as well as he could in 40k).

The paint job took me longer than it should have - this is at about 4ish hours work, and there are many little bits I need to touch up but overall I'm happy with the results.

Thanks for looking

Stuart

The paintjob is simple, but definitely more on the "clean and effective" side of simple. I'm far more impressed with the sculpt (although, admittedly, I'm not a fan of the chunky scimitar - I think a machete, khukri, even a butcher's/kitchen knife would fit better). Good stuff, all around.
