The purpose of this blog is to, hopefully, get me painting them a bit more quickly as currently it's taken me ages to finish what I have.

Here's what I've completed so far.



This is the latest mini I've finished. I'm quite pleased with it, if I had the chance to do anything differently I'd probably change the greys.



My Chaos Warrior. I was trying to make the armour look really old and worn, don't think it worked completely but I'm still happy with it.

I painted my entire set last year for a painting contest, complete with display board. The style I followed was close to the original 'Eavy Metal paint schemes as I wanted to maintain a degree of homage to the 90's style of the figures and artwork of the game.

Black is indeed a dificult color to highlight, but either greys or metallics usually doa good job with a bit of black wash used as a glaze - just mix with a little matte medium.
