How do you get a simple glowing eye effect?

I have seen some simple but nice green glowing eyes on a few things, most notably eyes of various models. How does one get this effect, it looks like goblin green in the center, then goblin green with white just a bit around the eyes. Is that all it is?

I do mine by using wash on the eye area and very carefully putting a bright dot in the middle. Layer it several times. Its not the same look as the GW ideal, nor is it similar to the regular ol eyeball look on fantasy models. Hoever since I play CSM and Demons, it works well for my purposes. Very striking and glowy.

How do you get a simple glowing eye effect?

Sounds like you're looking for both a lens effect and OSL (object source lighting). The tutorial AbraVolta posted covers both rather nicely. Generally, OSL is achieved through drybrushing (the quicker, easier, but rarely pretty method) or by layering thin paints and glazes (the somewhat more advanced but infinitely more effective method). If you just want glowing green eyes, you're already covered. For more general and varied advice, search for OSL threads/tutorials.
