Dipping - Anyone tried/have pics of SM?

Hello all,
I read the post where there was quite a debate about dipping miniatures and it made me curious about the technique. I saw some awesome pics of Tyranids using the technique, but I was wondering if anyone had any pics or suggestions for using dipping on Space Marines. Minwax seems to be the medium of choice so far. My thoughts were to paint the black (or close to black) on the model.

Just to give a better idea of what I am doing now, I have Ultramarines that I basecoat black and use Mordian Blue as the main color. I dont paint it on thick since it seems to give a somewhat wash look because the back is showing through.

Any tips, advice, suggestions, or pics are welcome!

I don't have any pictures with me but I used the Army Painter dip on my recently finished Flesh Tearers army and was very impressed with how it turned out. I've found with everything I've dipped using some sort of anti shine spray when finished is a major key

dipping works best on models with texture, SM's are generally smooth

I did use "dip" painted onto this model overtop of gunmetal, who has some flat surfaces, to give you an idea. It does look pretty good if it fits your theme, I play admech so my models being drenched in machine oil fits!
