				<description><![CDATA[ Hmmm you've got three lascannons to deal with armour and then the three Typhoons along with the Storm Raven which isn't too bad but nothing serious like melta to do deal with the tough stuff.<br /> <br /> Also three troops models at five models per unit isn't a lot. I would also drop the single Storm Raven as it will be a big target and get some more troops. Then drop a single Typhoon invest in a Priest to keep your squads alive and some meltas to do something against tough armour. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>Btw</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span> are the best Razorbacks for Angels as they're fast vehicles <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for you comment. My only issue is that priest <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span> are a waste of time because of their points and the way list list funtions. As you point out yes the SR is a big target yes but when are they not and not worth using. That also leaves the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(112);'>RBs</span> and the typhoons as a much lower profile target. Combined with the speed and the turns you have prolly spent shooting at my SR and vindi I've not really needed to worry about my troops. Now as far as tough armor the assault cannon I can switch out to another <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> which gives 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LCs</span> and two vindi shots. If that doesnt take out tough armor with my speed to buy more time with shooting even if i fail the first volley then Im done with dice games.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ How exactly is a Priest a waste of time? Three Razorbacks won't last long nor will five Marines though a Priest will keep them alive longer and let them hit harder in assault. <br /> <br /> Stormravens are never worth using..too many better choices in the codex and too many pitfalls with Stormravens, unfortunately. The Stormraven can be taken down in one turn as it's going to be a big psychological target just because it is big then the Vindicators. All those can be easily dealt with in turn one against the wrong type of army, with Vindicators just get weapon destroyed and you don't need to worry about them. That then leaves three cardboard Razorbacks. <br /> <br /> You're not going my point about tougher armour. Lascannons needs 6+ to penetrate armour 14, that's not good. Even against armour 13 needs 5+ to penetrate. Melta would definately help.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ They always have been If I wanted and assualt army I would not do it with marines. They are ok at best and BAs spend to many points to make them a little more then ok and as far as being more survivable, lets face it you can bring enough firepower on them to make your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> a waste of points. With your point on the SR anything can be taken out with one shot, so not a very compeling point. It's weapons load out and and movement makes it so worth it. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Firstly I really cannot understand what you're saying. Secondly if you wanted a assault army then why you using Blood Angels? They are a assault army that's what they do. And that's the point in having feel no pain because enough fire power will bring down Marines, did you know power armour and feel no pain is equal to having terminator armour....anyway, if you want your 15 models to die quicker then that's up to you.<br /> <br /> Sigh, the point on the Stormraven is it's a big ass target which won't get cover and only armour 12 so it's not going to take a lot of punishment. With it being a big ass target people are going to shoot at it. It's weapons load out and movement are not worth 200 points. If you want to use a single Stormraven then go for it, only time you can keep it alive is by turbo boosting all the time which you need 24" space to do it in and you can then only fire a single weapon thanks to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(470);'>POTMS</span>, kind of wasted with all those guns, yes?<br /> <br /> If you don't want to take Priests and run single Stormravens then go for it. You asked for advice and it has been given. You obivously know something we all don't.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Not to pile on, but I agree with Mercer.  For a 1500 list, there are too many toys and too few models.  My theory on the Stormraven is that you need at least two, and every Stormraven needs a Dreadnought and a squad to carry.  Look at it this way: You are paying for the transport ability, whether you use it or not.  If you don't, those points are wasted.  I would guess that a Stormraven without any transport capacity whatsoever might cost as little as 120 points or possibly even less.  A freaking Vendetta costs what, 125?  <br /> <br /> At any rate, the other issue with a Stormraven in your army is that it needs to be close to drop off Mephiston, while most of the army wants to hang back and shoot.  Given the relative fragility of the SR, you can expect to frequently have it destroyed early and then Mephiston will take a lot of fire or end up tarpitted.  You will also want to reserve it when going second much of the time, in which case almost 1/3 of your points will be showing up late.<br /> <br /> If you really need to use the Stormraven, I'd suggest dropping the Vindicators and Typhoons to take another one, along with 2 Furiosos.  You would then have the points to trade one Razorback squad for a 10 man Assault Squad with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>JPs</span> to go in the second SR.  I'd also advise against the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> Razorback variant.  I've done the math and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> and Las/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>Plas</span> versions really are superior.  The extra probability of hitting is not worth the extra flexibility and close-range firepower of the Las/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>Plas</span>, and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> is better at killing vehicles in general.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Mercer knows what hes doing listening to him has made my armies improve a lot.<br /> Fact Priests are awesome If they were a unit upgrade for 50 points every thing that could take them would have 1 in my army.<br /> Mephi will die he is a beast but hes not a 1 man army he needs back up and a bit of shooting wont help he dosnt need a transport he has fleet and wings so thats a total win right there.<br /> MrE I agree with the idea for the 2 Sr fill the Sr with assault marines a priest in each and a lib in 1 possibly and have mephiston running across the board that way they have to choose what to shoot at.]]></description>
