3 Ork Looted Wagon WIP's and a question about Rivets.

3 looted wagon WIPs X-posted from my journal. How does everyone apply the microscopic amount of super glue needed to glue on 1 rivet? The fine hobby tips I have still seem to dump out a ton of glue at the worst time. I've just gouged out the over glue when it's visible and "battle damaged" the area right next to the rivet for the most part but I'd like a better glue control technique.

3 Ork Looted Wagon WIP's and a question about Rivets.

I usualy have a piece of scrap which i squeeze a dollop of glue onto next to the model and a fine pair of tweezers, Dip the rivit in the glue then apply to the model, it's next to impossible to apply the correct amount of glue straight out of the tube/bottel and this way saves time as your going to be applying the rivets carefully anyway...

Hope that helps

I put a glob of glue on a piece of paper then touch a toothpick to it. Then I touch the toothpick to the rivet and it sticks. Then I touch the rivet to the glob of glue and then place it on the model using the toothpick. A slight twist and the toothpick comes off. Repeat as much as you need.
