I'm William, a skinny white boy from New Zealand. I first got into 40k after reading Ctrl+Atl+Del, where one of the main characters played 40k. It looked pretty cool, so I got a Space Marine Battleforce for Christmas last year. I only just got around to painting them (Ultramarines 2nd Company, because I like the look), and It's been slow going so far. I have absolutely no knowledge of gameplay, so until I get a rulebook, I'm gonna be in the dark for a while. So, anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and I hope to get to know alot of you over the coming years!

You'll need a Space Marine codex and the core rulebook to play a game. I suggest ebay for both since you really don't need a new copy of either, just make sure that they are both 5th edition.

For the BrB you can either get the big hardcover or the pocket sized version that comes in the AoBr set (has all the rules but not the fluff). I recommend the latter as it is pocket sized and easy to lug around than the hardcover.
